Shearling bags, a trend that has been around for a few years now.
Whether Celine, YSL or Louis Vuitton, you can find them in pretty much every winter collection of the brands.
We're talking about lambskin, a natural material that gives you a cozy, warm feeling just by hearing it. And now that the days are getting shorter, darker and, above all, cooler, shearling provides protective warmth, even if the contents of our bag may not need to be warmed.
Since 2021, the bag trend has become an integral part of winter and has established itself as the perfect winter bag and is a stylish change from our classic dark smooth and suede bags.
But how do I care for my shearling lambskin bag?
Lambskin is easy to care for, dirt-repellent and self-cleaning due to its lanolin content. Dirt stains are best brushed out with a care brush. Odors are usually not a problem either; simply let the bag air out for 1-2 days and then brush it out a bit so that the fur stays fluffy.
If your shearling bag is made from recycled materials such as bouclé knit or 100% polyester, we recommend that you protect it from liquids and stains with Safe.
